The Ten-Second Rule
Idling pollutes, wears your engine, costs money, wastes gas, and gets you nowhere. It only takes 10 seconds worth of gas to start the average car. If you will be stopped for more than ten seconds, turn off your engine!

You mean it doesn’t work because “car off then” sounds more like “blast off” i.e. drive (away) rather than turn off the engine? Maybe not would have to be “Count to 10, turn car off then”?
Ha ha, something like that! What I was thinking is that you turn off your car BEFORE you count to 10! You kind of have to estimate…
